eDesign | Baby E

I am always so happy to hear when friends are expecting their first baby.  There is so much joy, nervousness and love built into the news that it makes for an exciting mix of emotions!

I've seen Lindsey and Rob's relationship blossom (yes, I said blossom) throughout the years (college, long distance, DC, and now Alabama) and couldn't be happier for them.  Their little one is going to be one lucky gal (awesome parents and good genes, what?!).

Baby E's new space plan is below, and you can find her Urban Perch designed Pinterest board here.

A few project details:
Avoid: Too much color
Likes: Gray, White and Ballerina Pink
Style: Traditional, Shabby Chic
Space Issues: Make sure to fit the full bed
Existing furniture: Bed and Crib

Linds had picked out the bedding and palette, and the bed and crib were existing.  I wanted to make the two areas separate and also wanted to introduce furniture that the baby could grow into.

I also stalked Pottery Barn (meaning I called them) to figure out what grays they used in some of their bedroom sets.

I love how girly and sophisticated the room feels.  My favorite pieces have to be the lamb mobile available on Etsy, the Rifle Paper Co prints (the bobby pin one is adorbs), and the Head in the Clouds throw pillow by land of nod just makes me smile.

What are your favorite details?
